-Keep in mind that taxis ARE NOT anything like busses for availability and scheduling.  These vehicles operate on absolutely no set schedule as they respond to direct calls all over the city you are in through out the day.  Unlike Rideshare vehicles, most Taxis are required by law to serve ALL areas of the city you are in 24/7 regardless of the income rate, disability or race of the customers they serve.  This means that time is not something Taxi drivers have in great supply.

Unlike Rideshare companies, Taxis are also regulated for fleet sizes, routing and in some cases they offer comprehensive ride pooling services so one vehicle can serve more than one customer along the same route.

These factors greatly lower the carbon footprint of taxi services compared to rideshare services as well as increasing their availability to ALL customers.

This also means that pre-planning a taxi/cab ride and being patient when waiting for the pickup is key.

Most Taxi/Cab companies are very precise when they give you the ETA on the arrival of your ride.

KEEP IN MIND, The things you are assured of with EACH AND EVERY Taxi/Cab trip that you ARE NOT assured of in a rideshare vehicle are SAFETY and INSURANCE COVERAGE.

Rideshare:

-At this time Ride Safe World can not endorse ANY ridehsare company for safe or properly insured services.

This means that any wreck your rideshare driver may get into while transporting you will more than likely be uninsured.

Leaving YOU with 100% of the costs if you may become injured or worse in any wreck.

-RIDE SAFE WORLD HIGHLY ADVISES THAT NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 SHOULD BE TRANSPORTED IN A RIDESHARE (Uber or Lyft) VEHICLE.

These vehicles DO NOT have proper insurance or safety vetting and you are signing away your right to proper safety and insurance coverage for you and anyone with you when you enter a rideshare vehicle.  Children DO NOT belong in uninsured vehicles.
