Uber & Lyft Pander more bunkum safety improvements in attempts to improve image for public trading.

Following yet another assault and murder caused by the poorly regulated state of Rideshare (TNC) operations, Uber and Lyft have released yet another round of impractical and useless safety measures. While Lyft’s recently launched IPO continues to drop in the stock market amid issues with its sustainability and value as a company, Uber recently released a preemptive warning to investors that safety reports due to be released “some time within the year” on Uber’s operations may stifle public support and it’s own stock market potential. The vague announcement and it’s…

Uber’s latest partnership and driver status scams promise free education while defrauding customers and drivers.

One of Uber’s first partnership scams was a fraudulent lending sceme promoted by the ‘Uber Military’ program which defrauded 1100 US military personnel. The enlisted men and women were not allowed to deploy on active duty and retain their auto lending policies as Uber’s Lending company in the program would not honor the policies when soldiers were deployed. Uber’s lending partner in the program Santander Consumer USA was ordered to pay over $9.35 million dollars in settlement. Since 2015 both Uber and Lyft have removed ‘Safe Rides’ fees after a series…

Editorial, The self contradiction of Rideshare drivers

What amazes me to this day is how exactly a person agrees to contracting that eliminates their right to organize, to petition, to action their employer in court and eliminates their right to be treated with any accountability by the employer, yet they attempt to organize and petition that employer.   But they do not petition that employer for the most deadly aspects of any wrong doing. Like the record increase in assaults on customers, the over all lack of comprehensive insurance or MAYBE changing these same fraudulent terms in…

This is an article which was published by News.com.au   News.com.au is a publication which maintains tabloid and click bait ad stream on it’s pages.  In it’s ‘about’ section it claims to be owned by News Corp. The article was posted to a Facebook group that I also administrate.  I removed the article when fact checking showed that it’s title was directly contradicted by the article content. The group member who posted the article then began a trolling campaign to decry my actions and claim that I had wrongfully removed…
